We are delighted to announce the signing of full back Jack Tinker.

The 26 year-old defender is well known to Ian Richards having played under him at Stocksbridge Park Steels where he spent the last five years.

Jack started his career with Brighouse Town before making the move to South Yorkshire.

Whilst with the Steels he played nearly 200 times and helped his side gain promotion to the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Tinker left Stocksbridge in the summer and signed for Liversedge but the chance to play under Ian Richards at a higher level proved too tempting for the defender.

When speaking to Liversedge in the summer Jack said “It was a difficult decision to leave a club I’ve been at for so long. I’ve made many memories and some great friends so it wasn’t easy. I’ve learnt a lot at Stocksbridge playing under Ian.”
