We have further strengthened our squad by signing Barrow midfielder Liam Hughes on a contract and he is eligible for the FA competitions.
The 24 year-old was born in Rotherham and progressed through the youth system at Cambridge United to make his first team debut for the club in October 2010.
He had a short spell on loan with Corby Town in 2012 when he scored three goals in three games.
Hughes remained with United until January 2016, when his contract was cancelled after playing 177
games for the club at first team level.
He then joined Scottish Premiership side Inverness Caledonian Thistle and played 11 times for them over the rest of the 2015-16 season.
On release by the Highland club in June 2016 he joined Barrow.
Welcome to the club Liam!
