Mark Bower’s Lions are set to host Championship side Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night with kick-off at 7:45pm.

The fixture kick starts the Terriers’ pre-season plans and is the first at Nethermoor after a 3-0 win at Parkgate on Saturday which saw an Adam Boyes double and a late strike from Will Hatfield.

It will be the first opportunity for Lions fans to see new signings Michael Rankine, Nicky Clee, Ashley Palmer, Javan Vidal and Danny East who are expected to feature alongside trialists and academy prospects.

The visitors are expected to bring their first team which has seen many new players join in recent weeks as David Wagner puts his stamp on the side as he goes into his first full season in charge.

New signings Chris Lowe, Michael Hefele, Joel Coleman, Ivan Paurevic, Jack Payne and club record transfer Christopher Schindler should all feature.
