We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Keegan Hartley on loan from Barnsley.

Keegan will remain at Nethermoor until 1st December having signed a one month loan deal from the League One Tykes.

Described as a tenacious midfielder Keegan played a key role in Barnsley’s U18s side as they secured a Professional Development League play off place before being awarded a new contract in the summer.

The 18 year-old midfielder has come through the age groups in Barnsley’s academy since 2015 and made his senior debut against Newcastle U21s this season in the Papa John’s Trophy before making a second appearance in the competition against Doncaster in October.

Hartley also played the second half in our friendly with a Barnsley X1 side at Nethermoor in pre-season.
