Our postponed Vanarama National League North trip to Kettering Town has been rearranged while a date for the WRCC semi-final with Harrogate Town has been confirmed.
Our trip to Kettering Town, which was previously postponed on 15th February because of a waterlogged Latimer Park pitch, has been rearranged for Tuesday 17th March with kick-off at 7:45pm.
Meanwhile our West Riding County Cup semi-final will kick-off at 7:45pm on Monday 9th March on Town’s 3G playing surface.
The Lions secured their place with a 5-2 win at Goole’s Victoria Pleasure Ground in the quarter-finals whilst Town have played two games so far in the competition.
They defeated Bradford (Park Avenue) 2-1 in North Yorkshire and then Barnoldswick Town were beaten 3-1 by the Vanarama National League side.
It is the second time we have travelled to the CNG Stadium this season after our 1-0 defeat in pre-season.
Ticket prices for the game have been set at £5 adults and £2 U18’s with the turnstiles opening at 6:30pm.
Carer’s and U5’s will be admitted free with a full paying adult.
There will be no programme for this fixture but teamsheets will be available from the 1919 Venue from 7:15pm.
The 1919 Venue will be open and accessible for Lions fans serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with hot and cold food and refreshments available within the ground.
