Guiseley AFC: half-term community activities

With half-term fast approaching, Guiseley AFC are pleased to announce a number of projects designed to keep young people of all ages entertained down at Nethermoor and in the local community as a whole.

Every Friday – Free Friday Football

Free Friday night football with Positive Futures alongside Guiseley centre-back Danny Ellis and Stuart Gray, son of Leeds United legend Eddie.
For those aged 8-11, the time is between 5 and 6 pm while for those aged 12+, it’s between 6 and 7 pm.

Friday 1st June – Goalkeeper training
Goalkeeper coaching with Guiseley AFC number one and former Blackburn Rovers ‘keeper Steven Drench.


For those aged 15 and over, the sessions will get underway at 7 pm and cost £20. For those under 15, the sessions are subject to demand and details are still to be arranged, but there will be a small charge. Contact to register your interest.

Thursday 7th June – Half -Term Free Football

This is for those between the ages of 8 and 11 and lasts between 10 am and 3 pm. The day is free, but participants will need to bring a packed lunch. Again, to register email

Friday 8th June – Free Thai Boxing Taster Session Fitness & Conditioning

Available for those between the ages of 12 and 16 and open to all skill levels from 1 until 3 pm at Aireborough Thai Boxing Studio.
