We are delighted to announce that George Goodman has joined on loan, from Bradford City, until the end of the season.

The centre back has been with the Bantams since playing for their U9s and has featured in and around the first team for the past couple of seasons.

He has represented Northern Ireland’s under-19s during the 2024 UEFA Under-19 Euros. He made three appearances in the U19 Euros last year.

He was called up to their U21s side for the U21 Euros Qualification double header against Malta and Germany earlier this season.

Goodman has made 11 appearances so far this season and scored in our 4-2 comeback win over Ashton United back in November.

He was also named Man of the Match in a 1-1 draw with Cleethorpes Town a week earlier.

George has missed our last few games through injury but now the defender is back fit and ready to play in our final nine matches of the campaign.

We have home games against Workington, Whitby Town, Hyde United and FC United of Manchester to come between now and 11th April.

With trips to Cleethorpes Town, Hednesford Town, Rushall Olympic, Gainsborough Trinity and Ashton United in the calendar before our league season comes to an end on 18th April.
