Guiseley extended their unbeaten run in the Vanarama National League to five matches with a goalless draw at Dover Athletic on Saturday.
Following draws with Chester, Torquay and Woking as well as a win over FC Halifax Town, the Lions were made to work hard for another point at the Crabble, Steven Drench denying the hosts with a stunning double save prior to the break.
Dover continued to press after the break although the Lions came close to nicking maximum points late on – Adam Boyes and Will Hatfield going close before Liam Dickinson had a penalty shout turned down.
However, it ended goalless, with Mark Bower’s side making the long trip back ahead of Tuesday’s home clash with Southport.
