This Saturday’s trip to Brackley Town marks the occasion of Non-League Day. The day deliberately coincides with the international break and is designed to encourage fans of Premiership and Championship clubs to attend a match outside the top levels and – possibly for the first time – experience what makes Non-League football so special.

Vanarama, the Football Conference sponsors, have hit the headlines with their ‘Thumbs up For Non-League Day’ campaign – follow on twitter at #thumbsup4NLD – and they aim to achieve a record-breaking 50,000 attendance across the three divisions of the league. What’s more, Vanarama will donate 10p to tackling prostate cancer for every spectator who attends a Vanarama Conference game.

We hope that as many fans as possible will follow the Lions in action at Brackley on Saturday, and to encourage our loyal regulars to make the trip our hosts are offering a £2 discount (£1 for concessions) to all our season ticket holders.
