We are delighted to confirm that George Goodman’s loan from Bradford City has been extended for a further month.

The defender has appeared in all five games since his arrival from Valley Parade last month.

Goodman has started the last four successive games and earned the sponsors’ Man of the Match award for his display in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at home to Cleethorpes.

George has been with the Bantams since playing for their U9s and has featured in and around the first team for the past couple of seasons.

He has represented Northern Ireland’s under-19s during the 2024 UEFA Under-19 Euros. He made three appearances in the U19 Euros last year.

He was called up to their U21s side last week for the U21 Euros Qualification double header against Malta and Germany.

George is eligible to play in tonight’s trip to Workington.
