Guiseley AFC have added young defender Ben Frempah to their squad for the closing games of the season.
Frempah, 22, signed for Solihull Moors in December 2017 but has played just one game for them.
Born in Italy Frempah played youth football for Fisher FC and had trials with Charlton Athletic where he played a handful of Under-18 games.
He moved on to Ryman League side Cray Wanderers as a 17 year-old and had trials at Chesterfield but whilst there the opportunity arose to trial at Leicester City and he signed a professional deal but with the club for the 2013-14 season.
With the club winning the Championship that season they had a big squad and many first team players played in the Under-21s so opportunities for young players were limited.
In July 2014 Ben left Leicester to join Scottish side Ross County and became a fans’ favourite but with the arrival of a new manager and Ben on the sidelines for 16 weeks after sustaining a broken foot he was one of a number of players released at the end of the season.
He then played briefly for Isthmian League side Hendon in early 2015-16 season before joining Solihull last December
Frempah started out as a forward later converting to centre-back.
Welcome to Nethermoor Ben!
