With the first-team game postponed due to North Ferriby United’s involvement in the FA Trophy final, this Friday sees the Academy team playing local rivals FC Halifax Town in the Conference Youth Alliance at Nethermoor.
Along with FC United of Manchester, the teams are vying for second spot in the league and, with five games to go, Friday’s clash will go a long way in deciding whether the Young Lions can match last season’s runners-up spot.
Get down to Nethermoor to support the future of the club – kick-off is at 7 pm with admission free.
In addition, the Development squad (future Academy players) have an important match against touring J-League side Urawa Reds.
This will be the young Japanese aces’ first game on a tour that sees them play the likes of Manchester City, Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.
The game kicks-off at 6 pm on Thursday at Thornton Recreation Centre.
