We are delighted to announce the signing of Michael Fowler on a Youth Loan until the end of the season from Fleetwood Town. 

The 17 year-old striker has recently joined The Codheads from Premier League Burnley after he completed a successful scholarship at Turf Moor.

On securing the services of Fowler Fleetwood Head Coach Joey Barton said “A lot of clubs in our division were interested in signing Michael, so we’re really pleased that we’ve managed to get this deal over the line.

“He’s an exciting young striker who loves to score goals, and we’re looking forward to watching his development continue with us.”

Michael has previously had loan spells at Padiham and Radcliffe Borough this season and spent time at Sunderland in their youth set up.

A lot of clubs were interested in the young striker who was a regular scorer in the youth set up at Turf Moor.
