We are delighted to announce our first pre-season friendly ahead of the 2021/22 campaign with Everton U23’s visiting Nethermoor Park.
The Premier League 2 side will be the first scheduled home friendly for The Lions on Saturday 17th July with kick-off at 3pm and tickets are on sale now, get yours here.
The Toffees are managed by former Everton, West Ham, Sheffield United and Wigan Athletic defender David Unsworth, they present the first opportunity for fans to return to Nethermoor for a first team game since March 2020.

Everton U23’s squad includes players with plenty of EFL and Premier League experience including Lewis Gibson, Beni Baningime, Thierry Small, Nathan Broadhead and Josh Bowler.
They have won the Premier League 2 division twice in the 2016/17 and 2018/19 seasons and finished in 5th place last time out.
They will provide a tough test for Russ O’Neill and Marcus Bignot’s side ahead of the hotly anticipated campaign.
Russ will also be pitting his wits against his former club, our Joint First Team Manager spent four years with The Toffees when Howard Kendall was their manager.
