It has been over two months now since Guiseley, unknowingly, signed off on their 2019/20 campaign with a superb 1 – 0 away win at Kings Lynn Town, courtesy of yet another Kaine Felix strike. With no matches set to played for the foreseeable future, the club are maximising their social media output, keeping fans engaged in these trying times. These are five ways that you can keep up with all things Guiseley during this period.

With not too much new content to post at this moment, across the club’s social media channels, Guiseley are reliving old matches with as part of the ‘On This Day’ series, sharing the photos from the season and shouting out ‘Lions Local Heroes’, detailing Guiseley fans, as well as people living in the local area, who are keeping the country going through these unprecedented times. 2. YOUTUBE:
Most of the Lions’ YouTube channel is occupied by in-depth match highlights of every game from this season, and in addition, full-length videos of classic matches from years gone by, including the play-off final win away at Chorley, have been uploaded at 15:00 on a Saturday afternoon, meaning you can relive these encounters and fill that footballing void that appears every Saturday. The official club website is the place to go for anything and everything to do with Guiseley. From anything to do with matches, to profiles for every member of the first team (players and staff), to the club shop which sells replica kit, leisurewear, gifts, souvenirs and more! This campaign has been and still is vital in protecting the future of Guiseley AFC. With £9,802 raised at the time of writing, donations from supporters ‘Paying It Forward’ have gone a long way to helping the club’s creditors and partners to stay afloat, but the work isn’t done just yet. With non-league football facing an uncertain future, you can help by supporting this campaign, and giving whatever you can to support the club.
