FA Cup action at Nethermoor this Saturday

Guiseley are at Nethermoor Park this Saturday and will be hoping to progress to the First Round proper of the FA Cup when they host Buxton FC.

Both sides reached the Fourth Qualifying Round by winning home replays, Guiseley beating Colwyn Bay 3-1 while Buxton saw off Hednesford Town with an extra-time winner.

Though Guiseley lost on Saturday to Solihull Moors away from home, Manager Steve Kittrick will be hoping his side can maintain their impressive home record and secure another win in the FA Cup.

Should they get past Buxton, they would have a chance of facing a team from League One or League Two in the First Round of the FA Cup.

Buxton are currently 10th in the Evo-Stik Premier Division, having enjoyed a 5-1 win over Eastwood Town in midweek.

For Guiseley, it is the first of three home fixtures in eight days as they face Bradford Park Avenue in the Second Round of the West Riding County Cup on Tuesday, October 23rd and Vauxhall Motors in the League the following Saturday.
