Guiseley Community Foundation exists to maximise the utilisation of the resources of Guiseley Football Club for the benefit of the community at large.
It does this by means of the execution of projects that address local needs. They are part funded by the National League Trust via the Premier League and the Professional Footballers Association but need to raise match funding for these projects. To this end the Community Foundation is always on the look out for sponsors who wish to support such projects and enhance their standing within the local community. More information can be found on the Club’s website here.
In order to broaden this approach the Community Foundation is currently looking to forge links with local community groups and appoint new trustees who are active in the local community. This will allow the Foundation to identify local needs and help raise the match funding required.
There is also a need to administer these projects in a safe and professional manner so the Community Foundation is looking to recruit a full time Development Officer. The Development Officer will be required to initiate projects in conjunction with the trustees, organise their funding and see them through to a successful conclusion. Further details of this exiting opportunity along with application forms can be obtained by emailing the Community Foundation stating what you feel you would contribute to such a position.
If you are interested in applying for the post of Development Officer or would like more information about the work of the Guiseley Community Foundation please email Phil Rogerson, Chair of the Foundation on community@guiseleyafc.co.uk
