Dudley enjoying life at Nethermoor

Guiseley head into Tuesday night’s trip to Cheltenham Town in buoyant mood following back-to-back home wins in the league, with on-loan striker Anthony Dudley in particular enjoying life at Nethermoor.

The Bury loanee netted the third goal in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Barrow at the weekend, which took his Guiseley tally to three in two games following a brace against Welling United on his debut.

Tuesday’s opponents are flying high in the Vanarama National League after quickly adjusting to relegation last term – Gary Johnson’s men second-placed side likely to offer a stern test at Whaddon Road.

But Dudley, who joined on a one-month loan in late October, is keen to continue making the most of his time with the Lions and maintain his impressive form.

“I’m enjoying it here and the lads have been great with me since I arrived,” he said.

“I’m just getting my chances at the minute and luckily I’m taking them.

“The lads are in great spirits, we’re buzzing at the minute and we’ve come through two hard home games with six points.

“We’ll go to Cheltenham flying and hopefully we can pick up another three. I hope to be able to get some more goals here but most importantly pick up some more wins to get us further up the table.”
