Dickinson winner seals the points

The Lions picked up a huge win at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday as Liam Dickinson came off the bench to seal a 1-0 win at Aggborough.

Playing their first Vanarama National League game since January 2, Guiseley thought they had the lead early on only for Adam Boyes’ effort to be disallowed.

Having had the better of the opening exchanges, Mark Bower’s men were gradually reeled in by the hosts only for Dickinson to convert the winner 11 minutes from time.

Dickinson connected with Gavin Rothery’s delivery to fire the winner with his first touch at the far post as the Lions edged a close-fought contest to claim only their second away league win of the season.
