The club can confirm that we today completed the signing of striker Liam Dickinson from Stalybridge Celtic.

The 29-year-old lists a host of Football League outfits among his former clubs and completed the paperwork regarding his move at training on Thursday night.

Dickinson has scored five goals for Celtic this term and registered against the Lions in our 3-2 victory at Bower Fold last season.

Manager Mark Bower said: “We’re delighted to bring Liam in and feel he will prove a really good addition to our forward line.

“He has plenty of experience at this level and we’re sure he’ll be able to contribute to our promotion push this season.”

The club are hopeful Dickinson will be available to Mark for Saturday’s Vanarama Conference North clash with Chorley.
