Liam Dickinson’s early strike ensured the Lions an important three points as they edged high-flying Woking 1-0 on Saturday.
It was Guiseley’s eight successive away trip in a row but Dickinson gave the travelling contingent something to cheer when he finished from close range after a cross from Emile Sinclair nine minutes in.

Sinclair and Rob Atkinson were each denied by Woking goalkeeper Jake Cole prior to half-time before the hosts got on top early in the second period.
While Cole was required to deny James Hurst and Sinclair once more, Steven Drench produced a string of fine stops to ensure a clean sheet that moves the Lions into 17th with a third away league win of the campaign.
