The Lions will play their County Cup Semi-Final at Eccleshill United on Wednesday, February 5th 2014, with a 7.45 pm kick-off.
Eccleshill play in Division One of the Toolstation Northern Counties East Division, the same division as the Lions’ quarter-final opponents Selby Town, and they currently sit in sixth place with 40 points from 21 games. Former Guiseley coach Mark Ellis is Director of Football and another ex-Bradford City player, Lee Duxbury, is Head Coach.
The Rapid Solicitors Stadium is located on Kingsway, Wrose, Bradford, BD2 1PN, Tel: (01274) 615739 and directions can be found on the NCE website. Although, if approaching from Guiseley via Hollins Hill, the best option is to turn left at Fox’s Corner traffic lights in Shipley on to the A657 Briggate/Leeds Road and proceed under the railway bridge to the second set of lights, where you should turn right up the steep incline that is Carr Lane.
On reaching the top of Carr Lane, follow the road round to the left on to Wrose Road. After 0.7 miles, take a left into Plumpton Walk and then second left on to Kingsway; the ground is located behind the houses on the right-hand side and the entrance to the club is about 50 yards on the right.
