Community Foundation Receive Funding Boost

Guiseley Community Foundation has received £500 from Localgiving and Postcode Community Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

The funding boost will enable Guiseley Community Foundation to work in Partnership with Aireborough Children’s Centre to run a Mental Health and Wellbeing Course for fathers using the #PowerofSport.

The Project will consist of a 10 week course involving a workshop with speaker and a healthy exercise and fun session.

Community Foundation Chairman Phil Rogerson said:

“We are delighted to have received this grant which will enable us to initiate this much needed project, it will use the #powerofsport to support the mental health needs of men within our community. We would also like to thank the Postcode Community Trust, as well as players of People’s Postcode Lottery for making this possible”
