Unfortunately Saturday’s fantastic win over Boreham Wood was somewhat marred by an extremely unusual incident of racial abuse directed at a Boreham Wood player.

The matter was reported to stewards and the perpetrator was swiftly ejected from the ground by security staff in line with the Club’s Ground Regulations (Regulation 11).

The Club considers that behaviour of this nature is totally unacceptable in all walks of life and whilst the person in question is not a regular Guiseley supporter, his unsavoury behaviour does not reflect the ethos of Guiseley AFC and its supporters, and as such he is banned from Nethermoor.
