The managerial nous of Bradford City forward Billy Clarke and former Leeds United and Sheffield United forward Brian Deane will be pitted against each other in the inaugural Rob Butt Memorial Trophy charity match being held at Nethermoor Park this Sunday, 23rd April.
Billy Clarke will manage the Guiseley Veterans, whilst Brian Deane will manage a team representing Blacks Solictors. The Guiseley Vets is a team consisting of mainly coaches from Guiseley Juniors FC; whilst Blacks Solictors are a main sponsor of both Guiseley AFC and Guiseley Vixens.
The gates open at 11.30am, with a Juniors trophy match between Guiseley Juniors U13s and Menston Juniors U13s kicking off at 12 noon, followed by the Vets vs Blacks at 1pm.
Admission is £1 per adult, under 18s free of charge. All monies raised will be split between Marie Curie and the Guiseley Community Foundation.
Between 11.45am and 1pm there will be an U11s skills competition with the opportunity to be a Mascot at a GAFC home game next season as the first prize. All entrants will receive a free ticket for an adult and junior to attend the last game of the season against Solihull Moors.
Teas, coffees and a raffle will be available, with the bar open at 1pm.
