We can confirm we will travel to Chesterfield’s Technique Stadium for a pre-season friendly which is set to be played behind closed doors. 

The friendly will take place on Saturday 26th September with kick-off at 12pm.

The Vanarama National League side finished in 20th place via a points per game verdict after the season was cut short in March.

Lee Shaw was loaned to us by The Spireites for the 2019/20 campaign.

This and the FC Halifax Town friendlies are scheduled to take place behind closed doors due to COVID-19 restrictions and supporters SHOULD NOT travel to or attempt to spectate the fixture.

We shall confirm further information about our trip to Thackley on 29th August and whether supporters are allowed to attend this game once more information is known.
