The club can confirm winger Wayne Brooksby has left the club by mutual consent.
Wayne joined the Lions in the summer of 2012 and formed a key part of the Guiseley squads under both Steve Kittrick and Mark Bower.
The 25-year-old missed the Conference North play-off final defeat to Altrincham due to a broken jaw but was part of the side eventually promoted to the Vanarama National League last season.
Wayne struggled for game time this term following an injury in October and was loaned out to former club North Ferriby United for a month in November.
Having agreed a mutual termination of the player’s contract, manager Mark Bower said: “Wayne leaves with our best wishes and the decision was made in the best interests of all concerned.
“He has been one of our most consistent performers during my time here as both player and manager and I’m sure he won’t be without a club for long.
“Everyone in the dressing room, and at the club as a whole, wishes Wayne the best of luck with his career and we thank him for his contribution while with us.”
