We are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Brad Wade is signed up for another loan from Rochdale, this time a season long loan.
The young ‘keeper was a deadline day loan transfer from Rochdale last season when Marcus Dewhurst was recalled by Sheffield United.
Brad made seven appearances in our, cut short, 19/20 campaign keeping three clean sheets as The Lions chased a spot in the play offs.
Prior to joining Guiseley on loan last season Brad, 20, was on loan at Barrow. The Gloucester-born player was raised in Chorley, Lancashire, and was associated with Manchester United from the age of 10. After a spell with Blackburn Rovers he joined Rochdale at age 16.
Like Dewhurst he is a striker turned goalkeeper. He signed a professional contract with Dale in the summer of 2018 which was recently extended until 2022.
He has featured in three FA Youth Cup campaigns as well as being a vital part of the side that lifted the EFL Youth Alliance League North-West title with Rochdale last season.
