Bower appointed Lions boss

Guiseley AFC are pleased to announce that Mark Bower has been appointed as permanent first team manager at Nethermoor.

Following discussions with Mark, the board of directors have been impressed with his plans to move the playing side of the club forward and Mark will now take on the position on a substantive basis.

The club feels this appointment provides a clear statement of intent and ensures certainty for both players and fans on how the club will progress in the immediate future.

Chief executive Adie Towers said: “Mark will continue to work alongside the players and the management team to achieve the club’s aims. We hope and ask that fans get behind Mark and the the lads as we continue to grow the club on and off the pitch.”

Mark’s first game in permanent charge is on Saturday when we host Hednesford Town.
