Nicky Boshell’s late penalty earned Guiseley a 1-1 draw against Boreham Wood in the Vanarama National League on Saturday.
Buoyed by their spirited 3-3 draw at Wrexham in midweek, the Lions started brightly at Nethermoor with George Maris and Jake Lawlor both going close before half-time.
However, the hosts failed to make their pressure count as Boreham Wood came into the game after the interval.
After the visitors had a goal ruled out for offside, Clovis Clamdjo headed home the opener only for Boshell’s penalty to ensure Guiseley a share of the spoils.
