We can confirm that Bailey Conway has returned to Gainsborough Trinity for an undisclosed fee.

Following the player expressing a wish to leave at the weekend, and a substantial undisclosed profit being offered on the player signed from Gainsborough Trinity only eight weeks ago, we have consented to his transfer back to Gainsborough following yesterday evening’s game.

Conway made three appearances for the club since his arrival in June having missed Tuesday night’s trip to Gainsborough.

The midfielder was withdrawn after 30 minutes in the opening league game at Hyde before starting our clash with Whitby last week and entering the field as a 90 minute substitute on Saturday.
