Manager Paul Cox has returned to his former club Barrow to sign midfielder Alex-Ray Harvey.
The 26 year-old player has been signed on a contract
He was born in Burnley and joined Burnley’s Centre of Excellence as a youngster.
He earned his first professional contract in the summer of 2009 and played regularly for the reserves.
Harvey was loaned out to Fleetwood Town in March 2011 and again in August 2011.
He joined Barrow initially on a one month loan in January 2012 and made his debut in the defeat at Fleetwood Town.
On returning to Burnley at the end of the loan in mid April and he was released by the Turf Moor club in May 2012.
Harvey joined Barrow permanently in August 2012 and has made 214 appearances for them.
