Adam Bridson Named Vanarama National League North Volunteer Of The Month

We are extremely proud to announce that Adam Bridson has won the Vanarama National League North Volunteer of the Month award for January.

Adam is an invaluable member of our Media Team who goes above and beyond on a daily basis. Not only does he organise all of our social media accounts and website content he has this season also taken on the job of managing the production of our matchday programme compiling articles provided from various other volunteers and contributors.

Adam is a lifelong Guiseley supporter and hasn’t missed a game for over 10 years, either whilst stewarding at home fixtures or providing Twitter updates and the occasional match report at away games.

Football Secretary and General Manager James Pickles added “I’m delighted that Adam’s efforts have been recognised by the National League. Adam really does go the extra mile to make sure the club gets as much publicity as possible, and it’s great that he gets his moment in the limelight.”

Speaking about the award Adam said “I am beyond proud to be chosen as Volunteer of the Month for the Vanarama National League North. Non league is nothing without the volunteers who show immense dedication to their clubs up and down the country and we have plenty of those here at Guiseley AFC, including photographers, ground staff, matchday staff and the media team. It is really special to be recognised by the league like this and I would like to thank the club for the opportunities given to me over the years.”
