The Guiseley AFC Academy is now taking shape, with 21 players having agreed to continue their education at Carr Manor Community School, studying for a BTEC Level 3 in Sport. They will play in the Conference Youth Alliance for Guiseley AFC and in the FA Youth Cup.
The squad come with a range of experience, many having played for League Club Academy Teams and one for his National U-23 Olympic Team. They share a common goal of wanting to play football at a high level while wishing to further their education to University entry standard. Guiseley AFC are delighted to be able to offer them an excellent educational and football package.
The Academy squad will join the First Team in pre-season training in mid-July, when they will be coached by Dave Currie and Stuart Gray. The squad will also have the opportunity to play pre-season friendlies against other Academy Teams – watch out for further details.
