The draw has been made today for the FA Youth Cup, in which the Academy team will be making their debut. The draw has given them a bye in the Preliminary Round and their first ever tie – which has to be played in the week commencing 17th September – will be a home game against Sheffield-based Hallam.

The winners of that tie have been awarded another home game, to be played week commencing 1st October against the winners of the Dinnington Town versus Brighouse Town tie.
