Guiseley Academy’s first competitive match of the 2026/27 campaign will see the Young Lions face Emley at Nethermoor in the FA Youth Cup.

The extra preliminary round tie will be played on Thursday 20th August in a 7pm kick-off in LS20.

Tickets can be purchased on the night at the turnstiles priced at £3 adults, £2 concessions and £1 U18s.

The winners of the tie will host Penistone Church in the preliminary round of the competition later in the month.

It will be the third time the two sides have met in the FA Youth Cup with Dave Currie’s side winning 5-0 in 2020 and 5-2 last year.
