Frankie Returns To Nethermoor After Academy Spell

We are delighted to announce the signing of Frankie Sinfield from Pontefract Collieries.

Frankie’s career has gone full circle as he started out in our academy set up where he spent three years before moving to FC Halifax Town.

The 22 year-old winger is Ian Richards’ fourth new signing after the additions of Cam Wilson, Adam Lund and Aaron Martin.

Speaking of his new winger Richards said: “Frankie joins us after finishing top scorer for Pontefract Collieries and winning the Manager’s Player of the Season.”

“He started with our academy before joining Halifax Town and lives close to the ground. He has great quality and ability to create and score goals. He will bring further balance on the left alongside Kyle White.”

Frankie made 38 appearances and scored 16 goals for the Colls as they finished just outside the play off places.

The winger signed his first professional contract with FC Halifax Town in August 2023.

He then spent most of the 2023/24 campaign out on loan with Pontefract Collieries before going on to make 13 senior appearances for the Shaymen.

Sinfield spent the second half of the 2025/25 season on loan with Hyde United.

At the end of that campaign Frankie was released by FC Halifax Town and joined Pontefract on a permanent basis where he made a big impression.

Frankie’s home, away and training kits are available to sponsor, please email james.pickles@guiseleyafc.co.uk for more information.
