Ahead of Saturday’s trip to Warrington Town we would like to provide an update on Taylor Bowen, Tom Senior and Lewis Knight.
Taylor Bowen has left the club, Tom Senior’s loan has come to and end and Lewis Knight has signed a dual registration deal.
We can confirm that Taylor Bowen has been released at his request in order to pursue an opportunitiy abroad. We didn’t want to stand in the striker’s way and wish him the best of luck for the future.
Bowen made 13 appearances for the Lions since joining the club from Blackpool in the summer.
Tom Senior’s initial one month loan from Barnsley has come to an end. Shortly after Senior’s last appearance for the club, away at Bridlington earlier this month, he unfortunately suffered an injury in training with his parent club which ruled him out of the clashes with Warrington Rylands and Ilkeston Town at Nethermoor.
We would like to wish Tom the best of luck for the future and in his recovery from injury.
Lewis Knight has signed a dual registration deal with Knaresborough Town and made his debut in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Sheffield FC in North Yorkshire. Former Lion Jack Dyche was on the scoresheet after just three minutes in the stalemate.
Knight joined the club in the summer following a spell away from the game after a few frustrating injuries, Lewis recently recovered from a groin strain to score in the 4-2 win at Bridlington Town with his first touch.
The forward also came off the bench in Town’s 4-2 League Cup victory over Thackley on Tuesday night but was then substituted 15 minutes later.
Knight remains available for selection by Liam Ridehalgh in upcoming matches.
