We are delighted to announce the signing of Tom Senior on loan from Barnsley.

The 18 year-old centre back has joined the Lions for a month on loan from the Tykes ahead of this afternoon’s clash at South Shields in the Emirates FA Cup second round qualifying.

Senior has had previous loan spells last season with Grantham Town and Mickleover.

He signed for Mickleover at the same time as former Lions loanee Feyi Afuape last season to boost his experience of men’s football.

Tom has been signed in time to feature in this afternoon’s trip to South Shields.

We can also confirm that young Lions goalkeeper Spencer Booth has signed first team forms for the 2025/26 season.

Booth has been working with the first team squad all summer and throughout last season when he was also available for selection to Mark Bower.
