Previous Meetings
The Lions will be looking for repeat of the first fixture, after they put three past Belper at Christchurch Meadow.
Goals from Nicky Walker, Callum Chippendale and Mohammad Qasim secured the victory back in October.
Charlie Wakefield was on the score sheet for Belper that day, in what would turn out to be a consolation for Saturday’s visitors.
It’s the only meeting in recent history between the two sides, as Paul Phillips’ side look to do the double over The Nailers.
The Lions’ Form Book
A 2-1 loss to Warrington Rylands last time out means the Lions have won just once in their last five games.
However, as good display away to Marine means Phillips side picked up a crucial three points in the closing stages of the season.
A brace from Benni Smales-Braithwaite in added time at The Marine Travel Arena ensured The Lions took all three points back home.
A Look At Belper Town
Belper have had the season to forget in the Northern Premier Division. The Nailers site bottom of the league, 17 points off safety and look set to be relegated this season.
Lee Attenborough’s side have won just five league games all season, with just two of those coming in 2023.
Despite their poor position, Belper have actually picked up most of their points on the road this season, with 12 of their 22 points being gained away this season.
Attenborough will be hoping his side can use that to their advantage on Saturday afternoon, as they fight for every point.
A Look At The Lions
The Lions will be without Jameel Ible who is on international duty with Saint Kitts and Nevis in their CONCACAF Nations League group games.
Ross Daly will also be missing as he serves the second game of his two match suspension and Lewis Whitham is out through injury.
Harvey Rowe is an injury doubt having missed the trip to Warrington Rylands last week and Andy Kellett is likely to miss the game.
Paul Phillips should have Jake Cassidy available for his first home appearance of 2023 after the striker started last weekend.
Callum Chippendale made his return too and could be in contention for a start against Belper.
Tickets for the game with Belper Town can only be purchased at the turnstiles on the day. Don’t forget to pick up a matchday programme for just £3, it is packed full with exclusive content with what you will find inside detailed here.
