We’re delighted to announce that the 19/20 Guiseley AFC Academy Players’ Player of the Season goes to Kaydan Henry.
The big centre back has made 19 appearances this season the for Young Lions and has earned the vote of his teammates as their Player of the Season.
Kaydan lined up in all of their FA Youth Cup fixtures and has only missed one game of the 19/20 campaign after it was cut short following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Henry is in his second year with the academy after playing for the development team for the 18/19 season.
Head of Academy & Youth Team Manager Dave Currie said: “The winner of this award is Kaydan Henry. Kaydan spent last season in our development team and has progressed as a mainstay in defence for the Youth team. He is a fearless defender who will put his body on the line for the sake of his team and this total commitment, on and off the pitch, have been recognised by his team-mates. Congratulations Kaydan!”
Speaking of earning the award Kaydan said: “Since joining Guiseley AFC Academy I feel that I have improved massively thanks to my coaches and teammates. I am now focused on developing further and looking forward to see what the future brings.”
