17/18 Friendly Preview: Leeds United

Leeds United are set to visit Nethermoor on Saturday to start preparations for our third Vanarama National League season, the match is all-ticket and kick-off is at 3pm.

Tickets have sold out and no further tickets are available to purchase. To gain entry to Nethermoor you will need to have a pre-purchased ticket or be a GAFC Season Ticket holder, GAFC Season Ticket holders do not require an additional ticket.

It is also the first opportunity for Leeds fans to see their new manager Thomas Christiansen after their scheduled friendly with Harrogate Town was played behind closed doors at Thorp Arch.

The Whites won 4-2 in Wednesday’s friendly against a Town side which included former Lions Ben Parker and Simon Ainge.

Adam Lockwood is set to select his two new confirmed signings in Reece Thompson and Joe Green who are both likely to get some minutes.

There will also be several trialists on show as Lockwoood lines up his side for next season.

Saturday’s match is the first of five friendlies at Nethermoor with Barnsley, Bradford City, Doncaster Rovers and Darlington all visiting in July.

There will also be trips to Parkgate, Yorkshire Amateur and Handsworth Parramore to complete our pre-season friendly schedule.
