The Young Lions have been drawn against Evostik East Division side Ossett United in the 3rd qualifying round of FA Youth Cup in a fixture scheduled to be played on Monday 15th October with kick-off at 7:30pm at Nethermoor.

Ossett United were formed in the summer after the town’s two teams, Albion and Town merged to create a new club.

They play their fixtures at Town’s former home Ingfield Stadium with their first team including former Lions Adam Priestley, Alex McQuade and Jack Stockdill.

The academy have had a good run in the FA Youth Cup so far seeing off Rossington Main 11-0 and Harrogate Town 5-1.

Entry is just £3 for adults, £1 for concessions and Under 18’s, GAFC season tickets are not valid for this fixture.

The prize for the winners is a trip to Blackpool in the first round.
