No Joy From Orient Trip

The appointment of a new manager can’t come soon enough as the Lions shipped four goals on their first ever trip to Brisbane Road with Macauley Bonne grabbing a hat-trick – including two from the spot – for Orient.

This after the visitors had taken the lead against the run of play with Kayode Odejayi volleying home his first goal for the Lions from Kevan Hurst’s cross on 36 minutes.

Bonne converted his first spot kick after a handball on 43 minutes and then tucked away his second two minutes later after David Mooney had gone down in the box.

Matt Harrold headed the third on 65 minutes before Bonne completed the Lions misery with eight minutes left.
