Nethermoor has seen a major transformation over the last month with the former Sponsors Lounge and Club Office being replaced by a purpose-built complex comprising of three units that will house the Directors & Officials and Club Office and Shop.
The new units have been constructed off-site by a company in York and arrived at Nethermoor earlier today ready for installation. Prior to this the old blue portacabins and the yellow container that served as the club office had been removed with new plinths installed to form the base for the new buildings.
The installation was completed according to plan but as can be seen from the images the new buildings are a very tight fit. The new facilities will provide a far more positive experience for sponsors and guests alike which together with the return of a dedicated club shop and modern office brings the facilities at Nethermoor bang up to date.
Two new Medical Rooms were also due to be installed later today, one to replace the existing facility just inside the main gate at the car park end while the other will be located immediately outside the dressing rooms in between the players tunnel and the clubhouse covered terrace.
One consequence of the reconfiguration is that the burger van that was situated in front of the old club office has now gone and refreshments will be served from the facility situated beyond the two seated stands that was completed last summer.
Hitherto this has only been used when segregation has been in place but the burger van will however be deployed where the fans are segregated but the exact location has yet to be determined.
