Lions Win Minibus Courtesy of Vanarama

We are delighted to announce we have won Vanarama’s competition for a Minibus lease!

All 68 Vanarama National League member clubs were in with a chance of winning the vehicle with one entry into the draw per £500 raised for Prostate Cancer UK through the MANarama Campaign.

It was confirmed The Lions raised £1166.72 through the unique kit auction and collection tins, we would like to thank ICM Debt Recovery and EasyPay for their sponsorship of the kit which contributed to the overall total.

It was the fifth highest total across the three divisions raised by the individual member clubs.

The minibus will be available to us on a three year lease for free, this could have a great impact on our academy and community engagement.

Speaking about the prize Football General Manager James Pickles said “We would like to thank Vanarama for the generous prize and we look forward to taking delivery of the Toyota Proace soon.”

“This would not have been possible without the fantastic support of our fans though who generously backed the shirt auctions and the sponsorship from ICM Debt Recovery and Easy2Pay.”

“We are proud as a club to support Prostate Cancer UK and their pin badges and keyrings will continue to be available in the Club Shop.”
