This week it’s the turn of new signing Alex Davidson to fall under the spotlight as we find out his footballing opinions and memories.
What was your debut and what do you remember of it? – Liversedge in an F.A Cup second qualifying round and our manager got sacked after the game so not a good start. We got beat 1-0 by a last minute goal, they were a couple of leagues below and it was a big upset so not the best of starts really.
Career Highlight – Scoring a first half hat-trick in the fourth qualifying round of the F.A cup against Consett at home. We drew at their place but then went on to win 4-0 at ours so that would probably be a highlight for me.
Best trainer – I’d probably say Bosh (Danny Boshell), he’s got great feet and cracking vision.
Lazy trainer – It’s got to be either of the goalies. Goalies don’t do proper training do they? There was three of them, now there’s two but all they do is catch balls and practice a few kicks.
Biggest moaner – Joey (Spivack). I’ll go with Joey, he’s always moaning or whining about something.
Most skilful – Luke Sharry was a skilled player when he was here and so is Simon Ainge but I’d say Gav (Rothery). Gav has got really good feet so I’ll go with him.
Biggest joker – Mezz (David Merris), I know Joey said Mezz last week and I’d have to agree with him.
Quickest – There’s a few quick lads. Aingey (Simon Ainge) is quicker than you think, I’ll go with Aingey.
Favourite ground – The KC Stadium. Played there for North Ferriby in the East Riding Cup three or four times and it’s a really nice ground.
