Guiseley AFC are to hold the first session of trials for their newly-founded Football Academy Team this Saturday the 10th of December.
The trials will take place at Carr Manor High School and triallists should arrive by 9:30am for a 10:00am start. Carr Manor, a Specialist Sport College based in Leeds 17 with whom Guiseley AFC have joined forces, will be offering youngsters between the ages of 16 and 19 the chance to combine their studies to obtain a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport with the opportunity to play in the Football Conference Youth Alliance League in the 2012/2013 season.
Teams that currently play in the Northern Division of this league include Conference Clubs Mansfield Town, FC Halifax Town, Fleetwood Town and Boston United, plus Birmingham City Blues. All will provide a really challenging environment for those involved in the squad.
