The Board of the Football Conference has agreed an ex-gratia compensation payment to the Blue Square Bet North clubs that have lost, or are still to lose, a home fixture against Ilkeston Town FC this season following the Club’s demise after only six matches. Making a one off payment of £1000 to each club was felt to be an equitable way to treat the clubs rather than seek figures of potential loss from each of them. The monies will be made available from reserves held by the competition.

Nigel Collins who represents the BSB North clubs on the Board made the request, which found unanimous favour amongst the other Directors. The payments will be made to qualifying Clubs by the end of December.
