Guiseley were cruelly denied a first away win of the campaign by Sam Wedgebury’s goal six minutes into injury time after the visitors had held on to their slender lead courtesy of Raul Correia’s goal just before the half hour.
Correia scored in the 27th minute when he helped Will Hatfield’s deflected long-range shot over the goal line.
Kayode Odejayi should have doubled the Lions lead later on but managed to head over from close range.
However, six minutes into injury time the vistors were delivered a fatal blow as a Guiseley clearance fell invitingly to Wedgbury who volleyed past Green much to the relief of the home support.
